Some projects are born because someone has a great idea.
Others are born because someone is tired of doing the same thing over and over again.
SkiExpeditions.org belongs to the second group.
For years, I have wanted to organize ski and snowboard trips that are different. Trips to places where not everyone goes, where you can still find great snow, incredible landscapes and, above all, an experience you will remember for years.
But there is something I want to tell you honestly.
SkiExpeditions.org needs 100 travelers a year for this project to move forward.
And the goal is actually very simple:
10 travelers per trip × 10 trips per year = 100 travelers.
We are not trying to fill buses with 50 people.
We don’t want huge, crowded groups.
Quite the opposite.
The idea behind SkiExpeditions.org is to travel in small groups of around 10 people, exploring incredible destinations together.
We Only Need 10 Travelers Per Trip
This is the concept.
SkiExpeditions.org wants to organize around 10 trips every year.
And for each trip, we need around 10 travelers.
That means our big annual goal is 100 travelers.
When you look at the number 100, it might sound like a lot.
But break it down.
Just 10 people on each trip.
Ten people who want to discover Georgia.
Ten people who want to ski in Japan.
Ten people who want to explore Kyrgyzstan.
Ten people who want to ski in Argentina.
Ten people who want to experience New Zealand.
And so on.
That is the project.
Why Do We Need 100 Travelers?
Organizing international ski trips takes a huge amount of work.
Accommodation, transport, ski passes, flights, itineraries, group organization, websites, social media, content, advertising and answering questions from travelers.
There are countless details behind every trip.
That is why SkiExpeditions.org needs a minimum number of travelers to make the project sustainable and continue growing.
100 travelers per year.
Not 1,000.
Not 10,000.
100.
Ten trips.
Around ten travelers per trip.
Simple.
We Want Small Groups
One of the things we want to keep at SkiExpeditions.org is the small size of our groups.
Because traveling with 10 people is completely different from traveling with 40 or 50.
You actually get to know everyone.
It is easier to organize activities.
It is easier to move around.
You can share dinners, ski days, adventures and unforgettable moments.
And most importantly, you can finish the trip having met people you may want to travel with again.
We don’t want to fill trips. We want to fill them with experiences.
Ski to Travel, Travel to Ski
SkiExpeditions.org is not simply about taking you to a ski resort.
We want to do something different.
We want skiing and snowboarding to be the perfect excuse to discover the world.
Because skiing in Georgia is not just about skiing.
It is about discovering Georgia.
Trying the food.
Exploring Tbilisi.
Meeting local people.
Discovering the Caucasus.
The same applies when we travel to Japan, Argentina, Chile, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Italy, New Zealand and other destinations.
Snow is the starting point. The journey is much bigger.
10 Trips. 100 Travelers.
This is the number we have in mind.
10 trips throughout the year.
Around 10 travelers on each trip.
100 travelers in total.
If we reach that number, we can continue developing SkiExpeditions.org, adding new destinations and searching for even more unusual places to ski and snowboard.
Because that is the philosophy behind the project:
Go where others don’t.
Find different ski resorts.
Discover destinations that most skiers have never considered.
Travel in small groups.
And keep the prices as reasonable as possible.

If we organize 10 trips during the year with around 10 travelers on each one, we reach our goal:
100 travelers.
And from there, we can keep growing.
More trips.
More destinations.
More snow.
More adventures.
More people discovering places they may never have considered visiting.
